About the Event

Brownie Troop Camp-In "Under the Stars"

A special event for Riverbend Brownie troops in grades 2-3! Get your troop together and join educator Katie Laplant to earn your Potter badge, enjoy a s'more at Flock next door, and dance your heart out at a late-night dance party- all before rolling out a sleeping bag and staying the night under the "stars" in our East Gallery! 

Where  Jacoby Arts Center, 627 E Broadway Alton, IL 62002, East Gallery (Main Entrance)

When Saturday, April 15th, 

Drop off at 6:30pm

Pick up at 7:30am after a light breakfast

Cost $20 per girl

Troop Leaders please register your troop together at the same time. 

Participants will craft a clay piece for the Jacoby collaborative installation, as well as create a piece to take home, while earning their Potter badge. Leaders will need to arrange to pick up pieces after firing at a later date. Ticket includes clay class, s'more and juice at Flock next door to Jacoby, take home piece, as well as a light breakfast the next morning. Suggested packing list and schedule of events will be emailed to troop leaders after registration. For questions, please email Chantel Morrigan at info@jacobyartscenter.org.
